Specimen Identification

Streamline your Lab Operations with our Advanced Tube Labeling Solutions

The TubeWriterâ„¢ 360 solves most labeling and printing needs for specimen identification via either its barcoding feature, or simply an alphanumeric identifier.

What if you could label a week’s worth of samples in 30 minutes?

A typical clinical lab must process thousands of patient samples each day. Removing peel-and-stick vial labels and labeling each tube by-hand is an expensive and error prone process. The TubeWriter 360 labels clinical tubes, whether glass or plastic.

Complete Tube Printing 80% faster than traditional methods.

Create 2D Data Matrix and other barcodes for positive Specimen Identification.

Easily Integrate with LIMS, Excel or Custom Databases.

Eliminate lab labels for Cryovials and Cryogenic Storage.

Any Tube, Any Labware, Any Size

Research involves finding the needle in the haystack. And the haystack can get quite large with multiple high-throughput aliquots. The TubeWriter 360 frees researchers from hand labeling hundreds of aliquots. With either strips or individual tubes, a set of 1,000 aliquots can be labeled in a matter of 30 minutes or less.

Barcode standards such as Data Matrix, Linear, 2D, Code 128, Code 39 are all possible using the TubeWriter 360 tube labeling system. This enhanced capability allows you to integrate your barcode scanners to read the tubes and record data into your systems for accurate automated specimen identification. Rather than worrying about reading text, take your samples and start scanning them.

Industrial Inkjet Technology

The TubeWriter 360 prints directly onto virtually any cryogenic storage vial. The thermally stable vial and tube labeling ink can withstand liquid nitrogen exposure and extreme temperatures, such as a -80 degree C (-112 degree F) freezer commonly used for master and working cell banks.

The TubeWriter 360 uses well-tested, industrial inkjet technology. Because it does not use adhesives or stick-on vial labels, you don’t have to worry about lab labels hardening and coming off in cryogenic storage. And because there is no label, you can use automated handling racks for matrix/micronic tubes without worrying about time-consuming jams.
